Este complemento de fitness es, básicamente, una pista que se mueve sobre todos sus ejes en sus tres dimensiones: rueda, gira, se inclina en todas las direcciones y regresa a su punto inicial. Una pista activa que responde de forma dinámica a los movimientos del usuario, cuando éste se mueve hacia un lado, la pista ejerce una fuerza que empuja hacia atrás en la dirección contraria. La musculatura se ve obligada a poner resistencia a esta reacción para recobrar la posición de equilibrio.
De esta forma, el Core Board sirve para ejercitar abdominales, torso y los músculos de todo el cuerpo. Permite realizar distintos ejercicios y en tres grados de intensidad, cuyo nivel va aumentando de manera progresiva. Aquí se pueden realizar sentadillas, rotaciones, ejercicios de gemelos, entre muchos otros.
